GoGA Mission

We strive to create a positive, dynamic, supportive, all-female environment where women are challenged to ride harder and farther. We emphasize a holistic approach towards riding: we want to facilitate your progression towards becoming a confident rider in terms of route, repair, and safety knowledge.

The specifications:

- Ride 20 to 30 miles in 2007, 25 to 35 miles in 2008

- Quick pace (we don't want to be out all night)

- You will feel most comfortable riding a road bike

- Although we always look out for each other, you are responsible for knowing your own limitations. If you are not comfortable with long distance, the mechanics of your bike, or the pace is too quick, speak up!!! We will try to accommodate you if you are willing to push yourself.

i've been wanting to join you for a while now but was unsure as to whether i could keep up. would tomorrow be a good day to start? seems as though there will be a lot of stopping (and stopping at bakeries sounds good).

This sounds like fun... I'm trying to get out on more rides, but I usually have a schedule conflict. Are there any further details for this ride? A route (in case I can't make the start time)?

1. great ride for first timers. mellow pace, shortish ride, tasty treats.

2. if you are planning on coming tomorrow to the bakery ride, can you please reply on this page that you are in? the ride planners would love a rough idea of how many people to expect (for bakery visits/snack purposes). THANKS.

3. Billie I'm so sorry to hear about your accident! Heal quick.

4. I don't think we're going to have the route prior to the ride for this one. Sorry.

noooooooooooooo!
I was totally looking forward to this one. Unfortunately this morning I began to drive away in my car to work, and realized I had a flat tire. Turns out both my front tires needed replacing. I need to take the bus to the shop from work to get my car tonight.
Sheesh, if I only rode my bike everywhere, I wouldn't have this problem.
HAVE FUN!!
